Therapy for Anxiety
Overview
If you are experiencing anxiety-based symptoms, therapy will include a calm space and tools that fit your specific circumstances. These tools can help you identify, organize, and reduce or remove the stress that may be keeping you from living a peaceful life. This therapy can help ground you so that you can enjoy the current moments more easily. This can help you build the confidence and skills you need to take control of your life.
If you…
often feel anxious, stressed, or worried
have a hard time controlling your worry
are often focused on the future vs. the here and now
have a hard time sleeping
have muscle tension
feel tired easily
think your anxiety sometimes gets in the way of your social life, work, or goals.
It’s possible that…
your anxiety is controlling your life. You may feel distance growing between you and the people around you because your stress feels overwhelming or all-consuming. It may feel like a never ending series of things that cause anxiety.
I can help you…
take control of your thoughts and actions so you can start to feel less tense and more empowered. I can provide you with tools to help you manage the various challenges in front of you so that you can more easily enjoy your life in the here and now.
I have over four years of clinical experience helping people manage their symptoms of anxiety. I help people find solutions to their concerns in a practical and meaningful way. My training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-based Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR.)
Additionally, my first career was in production and project management so I can use my organizational skills to help you identify your goals and then together, we’ll develop a plan to reach them.
